These bulbs are a bit pricey but worth it if like me you love the size and brightness of the C9 and want to replace your bulbs. I was able to purchase a few more traditional C9 glass bulbs to replace ones that were either broken or lost their colored coating. I was a little hesitant to order, I needed them to match the glass version because I couldn't afford to change all my bulbs at once. I ended up using them as whole filaments mounted over the other filaments of traditional glass lamps. I lit them all and took the family to a test screening. I asked them if they noticed anything odd about the lighting. Neither of them could tell the difference in appearance between the two sets of lamps (old and new). To be honest, I couldn't do it from sight either. They don't seem to have the LED flicker that many smaller filaments exhibit. They go together so well that I think I can switch bulbs on the same filament if needed. In previous years I've also used switches with the amount of C9 bulbs I had. Well, I had no problems with the LED this year. Also like durability as mentioned in other posts. I've only used them this year but I think they will wear well.
