We ordered this gate because we needed a sliding gate with a walk through for our front door to keep our cats from going upstairs. Our current gates have both horizontal and vertical bars, and cats climb right through them. This gate looked great out of the box and was easy to assemble. Unfortunately, the bottom clamp feet are at the very bottom of the gate so they rest against the baseboard. It's impossible to stabilize the gate there. We tried installing it over the fairing, but then the top holddown legs kept tilting instead of staying straight. We suspect that this is due to the lack of soil as a stabilizer. We'll send it back. If you have a baseboard or baseboard and trim then this gate is not for you.
