I think that they help some.
I'm not sure if they actually include any particles of 24k gold or even if they did what good gold does for your skin. But the moisture and other parts of the solution trapped in the gel are comforting to place under the eyes. They're easy to use and even come with a little spoon/tool to fish them out of the jar. My eyes don't look puffy or feel dry after using. So overall I have a positive opinion of them.
