I really wanted to love this one. My first order had one of the crusts with a broken lid which they found thanks to a question I asked the Amazon community. The seller is wonderful and very responsive and seems genuinely wanting me to enjoy the product. I have a sincere feeling that they are (in a good way) proud owners. I was so excited to have glassware that is easy to clean and has an attractive food spout. I can't figure out what I could go wrong and don't know how they get rave reviews. What I noticed is that when pouring, the oil pours out of the top of the glass bottle hidden under the stainless steel sleeve. I will be back the next day to use my oil and find the bottom of my cupboard completely oily and only after unscrewing the cap and taking everything apart do I find a slimy oily mess all over the glass bottle (under the stainless steel cap ). sleeves) and you have to wash the whole thing. The first time I thought it was user error, but I took everything apart and made sure all my gaskets were tight (one of them falls out every time I remove the lid mechanisms, but I tried it in two different positions, the doing it would make sense) and I get the same result. I've cleaned my shelf 3 times now and washed the bottle 3 times and I've been using it in less than a couple of weeks. It's dirtier than the canola oil bottle I was trying to replace. The search continues. So no luck. Update: Okay, that was user error. I just couldn't stop trying to figure out why this wasn't working for me. Finally, I placed the spacer where it meets the rim of the glass bottle and voila! Clean filling and no hidden oil stains! Yes. I'm so happy. I only wish the pads didn't fall out so easily in the wash or there was a little instruction on a page with a picture of where the two pads should be placed. That's the only reason for four instead of five stars.
