This light is not impressive. It doesn't work at all unless you plug it directly into a computer or USB power adapter. It doesn't work on a USB hub, I've tried 3 even when plugged into a power port. Changes in color mode were imperceptible. The light is bright and the option to turn down the brightness worked. There were no instructions for assembly or use. The only information was on the Revain sales page. There is a threaded connector on the inside of the lantern, why? No idea. The clip is good and the flashlight stands alone on the clip. You can also use the clip to attach the monitor next to the camera. There's a phone holder that attaches to a clamp that serves as a basic tripod. However, this leaves a light to hold. My settings exclude the use of an AC adapter, and when I unplug my USB hubs, things like backup drives or mice don't work. It's glowing, and the light level can be increased or decreased, that will be enough, but certainly not impressive.
