I've brought dozens of these inexpensive extension cords and only had one problem
The problem was that the ground or center pin broke off when I accidentally stepped on the plug. It would be nice if they were stronger as they are made of thin hollow metal that is easy to bend with your fingers. Knowing this I am now very careful with my size 13 boots and the other cords have good traction for the most part.
