I didn't dare to buy it because of the negative reviews. But I decided to take a chance and was satisfied. It took 1 breakfast in the morning to settle in as I undercooked or overcooked some of them. They actually cooked really quickly and I never had to wait for them to get hot enough again between pancakes. I just kept cooking. I've learned not to oil the surface between pancakes as the hot surface cooks the batter in the pan but doesn't stick to the surface. I made a basic batter that fits perfectly on the baking sheet. So now I know you can put an incomplete batch in the pan. But now that I figured out my "technique", it's so easy and they're great. I like pancakes because they're not as thin and thick as wraps or flatbread. My boyfriend loves pancakes and it keeps him from eating so many carbs. I would wish that the "recipe book" that came with it offered more filling options. I love pancakes for dinner, lunch, breakfast, hot meals and snacks. It depends on how fancy you go with the toppings.
