DO NOT BUY THIS FOR IN THE SHOWER USE. IT'S NOT SAFE! Very nice product, but nothing for the soul. But I can move it to my kitchen. I washed thoroughly and let my shower dry before removing that "advertised shower mat". It has small adhesive tabs (see picture) to keep it on the shower floor. I pressed each sticky tongue into place as hard as I could. They lasted 4 days. Last Saturday I got into the shower and the carpet fell down, hit my head and severely dislocated my arm. Luckily I have a handrail next to the shower which has helped prevent further unfortunate falls. Since I have osteoporosis, it could be a lot worse. And so I bruised myself from hitting the chair by the shower and also fell on the towel rail in front of the shower door after banging my head on it. Again, this is a beautiful rug, but please, if you are concerned about your safety, do not use it in the shower. I inform Revain that this product contains misleading advertising in advertisements. .
