UPDATE: customer service is TOP! We had some issues with the original backpack we purchased but they contacted us immediately to fix the issue. I'm glad to hear that they wanted to fix the design flaws so the next batch of backpacks wouldn't have these issues. They sent me a new backpack in excellent condition. I even asked them to send us another model so I don't have to worry about the gems falling off later. They sent us the style I requested without question. I am VERY happy with their service and the new backpack we have is very similar to the style we previously ordered so my sister is happy too. Thank you guys I will order from them again! 😊 ________________________________ This backpack is adorable but VERY poorly made. I've been eyeing this for my little sister for over a year and finally decided to buy it for her this year. Let's be clear, this is a very expensive backpack. For over $40 this backpack should hold up well. Unfortunately this was not the case for us. I've only been using it for 2 days and it's already falling apart. The stone fell out first which was a total shame as the trinkets really add to the overall look of the backpack. When my sister showed me the stone that fell out, the part of the backpack that connects the strap to the bag body (and also allows the strap to be enlarged) fell apart. I was shocked. My poor sister wanted to cry immediately. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that one of the straps has very loose threads holding everything together. The other side is much stronger and more secure, so I know the threads must be different. I had to tie them in knots to keep them from moving. I shouldn't have done that. We are both very disappointed. She was so proud of her new backpack but now it looks gaudy. I'm frustrated because everyone else seems to have a lot of experience with their backpacks. Maybe it was an accident? I am not really sure. All I know is that I wasted over $40 and my sister is disappointed.
