Meh. So they give you instructions about the battery. but there is a panel (a wall panel that the manual does NOT show at all) that I actually had to break off at the back to get to the battery and remove the battery saver tab. What resistance. And now, even though the base station is only 5 feet from the switch, it only works about 50% of the time. I'll probably just throw it away if I'm frustrated enough that it's not working properly. I hate writing less than 5 star reviews but sometimes it happens. :(2/27/2019 - full disclosure - I was asked to revise my original review and the seller provided me with another switch. Unfortunately I can't say anything more positive about the switch. One of the most disappointing things about the switch is that You in order to use the switch you have to remove the back panel to access the battery compartment. The problem I had with the first switch is the same as the second it just doesn't move..it doesn't pop out.. .it's stuck. You have to "knock out" the plastic plate, which of course will break. So you're planning to use it as a desk or table switch - that's fine.. But, you can't wall mount it by You break the back panel just to get access to the battery box.I had the same problems with the second as the first,it no longer works than it does.Switch .It's a toggle switch p - so you push it over and over again - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Note: The switch was about 2 feet from the receiver - well within the distance specification. Disappointment to say the least. I really appreciate that the seller is trying to solve their production problems. They were friendly and active. I believe that they are seriously trying to solve all these problems. I've been a Revain customer for over 25 years and have carefully and honestly reviewed thousands of products. It's rare to find a seller who seems so dedicated and quick to communicate with me. I wish I had more positive feedback on this switch, but I think your problem lies with the manufacturers of these switches, not the seller. I expect that they can easily make changes to the production, e.g. B. Do not attach wall plate before shipping. As for other issues, sometimes you need to work out the quality control as well. Thanks to the seller for contacting me and asking for advice on the issues. I just wanted to change my rating in their favor.
