This worked exactly how I hoped it would. This is an easy way to adjust the elasticity of homemade face masks. Getting the elastic into the tiny holes is quite difficult, but if you use angled tweezers with narrow needle tips, it's very easy. I've used about 40 of these so far and none of them have snapped or broken when I inserted the rubber band into the hole. I used 1/8" elastic. You really can't go any thicker. It is possible, but it will be very difficult to get a thicker elastic through the hole. All in all a very good product that I would recommend.
