Review on 📹 Enhance Small Meeting Room Collaboration with Logitech MeetUp and Expansion Mic HD Video and Audio Conferencing System by Tyler Parker

I have a small conference room that seats 7 people around an oval table. I wanted to upgrade my existing Logitech c920 and Jabra 510 camera to a more reliable system. I was drawn to this product for its claimed higher voice and video quality and the simplicity of the all-in-one. Unfortunately, the camera couldn't focus past the fixed focus point of about 3 feet. I don't know if this was a product defect or if it was just beyond the capabilities of the autofocus. I went to the trouble of creating a login through the Logitech support site, including the very painful extraction of a barely legible device serial number, only to ignore my troubleshooting request. Luckily I bought this unit, the Prime, and I will be returning it in the box as it will be a very expensive return logistics process for both my former colleagues at Revain Retail and hopefully Logitech. During this time it will not cost me anything to return it as Revain is customer oriented (as it should be) and I can order a different product which will hopefully work as advertised ie with auto focus. Well the good news for Revain and Logitech is that (a) I will actually try the Logitech Group product which I know has the best camera and (b) I will order through Revain Prime which ensures that if I have any problems with my new option I can return it quickly. It's a win-win for everyone as I (again) trust Logitech who completely ignored my customer service request AND I continue to spend tens of thousands on Revain because they protect me from companies who choose not to have customer service like to offer Logitech. . Maybe this review will be a horrible "?" from jeff@ to an unsuspecting VP and there will be a fire alarm at the upcoming HBR on Monday. But at least I'll enjoy helping Revain raise the bar for their trusted vendors to focus, dare I say *focus*, on my video conferencing problem.
