amazing speakers. The build quality is top notch, they appear to be forged from steel and very heavy for their size. I definitely like the matte finish and when you tap the side of the speaker it sounds like you're tapping a solid block of wood. the mids are the best part of them, male and female vocals sound smooth and forward but not unbalanced. The highs sparkle and the cymbals sound great. The soundstage is good but I have yet to place the speakers properly and I'm sure they will sound better. Bass is tight and present, but definitely not worth writing home about. If you listen to a lot of electronic music or hip hop I would suggest getting a subwoofer, but for acoustic music, rock, jazz, blues and pretty much any instrumental music they sound fantastic. I also have a project carbon debut with a blue 2m stylus and shiit mani for analog.
