I wanted to buy an abacus to see my boy's interest in it in refresher class. He is 18 months old. This was the hardest (based on reviews on Amazon). I went through all the accounts without thinking about the budget because I wanted them to last. All other pearls seem to fall apart, only this one was delighted. So I bought. Pros Colorful enough to catch his eye Seems durable CONS Smaller than I expected. next row n move them all over. (no matter how careful I am) * I consider myself short so no, I don't have clumsy fingers. But other than that, I'm still using it daily until I find a bigger and stronger one (to continue with this one)
