I've had this electric blanket for about a month now and I still love it. The duvet itself is very soft and stretchy. You can feel the coils by looking at them, but they aren't as hard as other electric blankets I've used and seem to follow the design of the blanket. One side is fleece/hard and the other side is textured, so I use the textured side as a winter duvet cover. You can see in the photos that you can see the label and cable attachment points with this usage. To hide it during the day, I cover it with a light foil. We also show how we woven the blanket along the rug so it can be attached to the side of the wall. The blanket doesn't get very hot. It's more of a warm hug. This is enough to relieve the chills and keep you comfortable. And it's a great feature that you can heat the blanket from different sides and it will turn off after 10 hours. I usually turn it on when I shower at night and when I go to bed it's nice and cozy.
