I can't believe how good they are for the price. They feel good and solid. A convex mirror will give you a good idea of the landscape, but at night it can be a bit difficult to judge distance and such. However, it's okay if you look over your shoulder properly. It took me a minute to figure out that I basically just had to tighten the main bolt just enough for the inside of the bar to start grabbing, but after that it was cake. It also took a minute to figure out that you need to loosen the smaller screws to make vertical adjustments once installed. It may take a few tries to get it right, but once everything is nice and tidy, folding mirrors make setup for horizontal rear view and bike storage/traveling in tighter spaces easier. I'll admit I only bought them because I needed something cheap to replace my broken mirror before I stumbled upon my Ducati with all that premium stuff. However, if they are present, I'm in no rush to replace them. There's nothing bad enough about these mirrors not to justify a 5-star rating for something under $20.
