This is well made and hard to beat for the price. I doubt how much better it will hold up than the factory plate since the nominal thickness isn't much different. Let's hope the properties of 7075 are much better than the original casting. My real complaint and the reason I removed the asterisk is that there are no lugs for the intake temp sensors like the original part. I drilled and tapped the inlet plate and some of the threads are pretty flimsy, but I think it should be able to handle the small amount of force I put on it (35lbs).
