At first I couldn't get the hole punch to cut through more than one layer of cotton with the interface before I gave up and used another hole punch. This should have been my first indication that this might not work for my purpose. I went ahead. Put the bushing through the hole and place the washer on top. The neck of the bushing was too short to fit through the passes that needed to be passed through and therefore did not fit through the washer on the other side. Unfortunately, this set didn't work for me. If you're using it for much thinner materials (other than 4 layers of cotton, two layers were bonded together) this might work for you.
