Review on Enhanced Thunderbolt Compatibility: Nekteck Thunderbolt Certified for Alienware by Steve Modesto

Update2: The replacement doesn't work. Used 4 or 5 times. Changed from 3 to 1 star. Wouldn't buy. Update: Technical support contacted for cable replacement (see below). They asked for a little debugging but were quick to offer a replacement cable. The replacement cable arrived in 3 or 4 days (maybe even a week after contacting support) - it was an easy deal in the end. The spare cable charges fine, but I have strange behavior when I connect an external drive (thunderclap). It mounts the drive a few times, then unmounts it, and after a few messages it seems to mount fine. I DON'T KNOW. I've tested a few specimens, they seem to be fast and they've been successful. Don't trust it for anything other than charging. Original: Will not charge Apple's MacBook Pro (2016 Thunderbolt) or other chargers, will not connect to transfer data. Must be a bad cable.
