Great value for this pack I bought in May 2020. Do not remove leftover food from the pans, which I have to soak beforehand. Sponges start to smell bad after about 2-3 weeks when they are new and need to be disinfected to remove the bad smell. I washed the sponge in the dishwasher, which eliminates unpleasant odors, but after that the sponges quickly deteriorate, as in the picture. Then you still have to wash the sponge in the dishwasher every week. Also, the dishwasher makes the sponges thinner. You can wash them in the washing machine, but they spoil quickly, just like in the dishwasher. These sponges last longer thanks to the use of lemon juice, which doesn't work on its own but works well when combined with vinegar. You still need to do this once a week to get rid of the bad odor that comes from using sponges. I've tried not to throw more sponges into the landfill, these sponges slowed that process down, but they still need to be thrown away.
