UPDATE: This is a good product but it tends to pull on the fabric of the sofa. Yes, I was a bit aggressive with him, so be careful. The hair will get tangled, just be careful not to push it too hard. I read so many reviews before purchasing. For those who say it's rusty, it's not. The lint-collecting metal is painted and may be the color of rust, but it is not rust. I was shocked when I made the sofa. We have 2 maine coon cats that leave hair all over. I can only say WOW! When you use the tool it looks like it will rip the fabric, but it isn't.
