I used an AT95E carriage on a TEAC TN280. The car was pretty good, but after many hours of playing I noticed a drop in tonal clarity. I decided to upgrade and researched many brands, narrowing my choice down to Sumiko. Based on the great reviews, the specs, and the price I could afford, the Rainier hit the spot. After carefully assembling the car, which was fairly easy, I was blown away by the sound! The instrumental separation and range was great. I first heard the triangle in the song, faintly in the background. Bass tones are more natural and clear than ever, as if alive. I will definitely update the Sumiko line next time.
