Review on Kelty Cabana Shade Tent Update by Timothy Jimenez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great beach tent with a different purpose because it's a real tent.

Easy to set up, 3 poles, very wind resistant, sandbags are great, windows that go into the ground with rolled up rigid nylon sheets so it feels like the tent isn't even there full view of the Strand to the rear (and in front of you with your face open) and allows you to change or retire (but all use loop straps, I would like a zip but that would increase the cost), in front the wall completely covers the tent and serves as a anteroom. Not too big and not too small, it's the perfect little family tent for the beach, I could use it for longer because it's a real Kelty tent, even the seams are taped, and it's not supposed to be waterproof, but it seems so would be a useful shelter from moderate rain, certainly strong enough against the wind. Best I've seen for the beach, I'm glad I got it.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
