Samsung SyncMaster works well
The Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD has a high display resolution for VGA and HDMI. I use it as a secondary display for my laptop. It is very easy to set up screen cloning or desktop extension. However, I am unhappy with the part of the base that connects to the monitor, making it difficult to position the HDTV/monitor. It's only about 2 inches wide and the stand and bracket are plastic.
