Inadequate quality control.
It did not get a top rating because the front right pocket was not properly stitched closed and left a hole. I had to do the repair. Also, I did not dig deep enough into the product description (have to find the Q&A section) before ordering to discover the fabric is not 100% cotton, an assumption I shouldn't have made. Content is 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Still, they are comfortable, so I'll keep based on the price.
