We bought different adapters to do some things like: B. Converting internal fans to external USB options for different projects. The problem is that the speed you get from the fan isn't really usable as it spins around 6th speed (if at all). Therefore, purchasing these adapters solves this problem immediately and gives you full access to the fan's speed features. Now you have a true external fan solution. We recommend heat shrinking parts of the board when using it for this type of project. This helps protect the board from short circuits. Or design and print a 3D printed case for it.
