As advertised, this towel is lightweight, compact, absorbent, soft and packs easily into the included mesh carry bag. It dries me after a shower and then dries quickly on its own. So well made and working. What they don't say in the product description is that the fabric care label recommends hand wash or gentle cycle. OK guys, does anyone hand wash the towel? I've run mine through a perma press cycle, hung it up to dry and it's fine. I bought this for my emergency preparedness kit so now hopefully it will never be needed so "handwashing" isn't a huge issue. I've tried a washcloth, it's slippery, almost slimy. Sometimes I need a little brushing and I like a little defoliation. So I add an inexpensive washcloth instead. I would not buy this product because of the washcloth that came with it. It's made in China, too bad we can't find American suppliers for these things.
