Review on 🍳 Breville BOV900BSS Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro: Powerful Countertop Convection Oven in Brushed Stainless Steel by Becky Dahl

I switched from a great Philips Airfryer to this oven which was too small. This smart oven has many good qualities, but the air fryer range failed for the main reason. This fryer basket has a built in metal label that reads "DO NOT USE WITH FOOD THAT DRIPS DURING COOKING". The Philips fryer came with many three-book recipes, over 50 per cent of which left a lot of oil in the bottom pan that air frying removed. This includes chicken cuts, rack of lamb, salmon steaks, pork chops, and all manner of reheating to get the crust crispy again. This leaves me with only dry fries from what I air fry. If I place a frying pan under the fry basket, the fryer's heat cuts off. Breville knows most food cooked in a deep fryer will drip, so why isn't this oven designed for that?
