I had an Asus 600 Mbps cable modem and a 1 GHz Asus wireless router but it was only pulling 70 Mbps. I thought I had a 100Mbps limit since I was using the cable that came with the wireless router. I bought a 50ft cable to put the wifi router (along with the rubber runners) around the room, hoping to at least keep up the speed since I used to have a 3ft cable. Well, I plugged it in and Ookla showed my speed went up to 225Mbps. No joke. I thought I was sleeping. I know my previous cable was bullshit, but still. Legitimate results and great product!
