I'd like an Apple or Samsung smartwatch - you know, fancy, with great dials and all the bells and whistles. Only I have fatigue from the load. I don't need hours I have to turn on every day or two. It's ridiculous to have a watch that tracks sleep but doesn't hold enough charge to wear it all night. I've been using this Amazfit watch for quite a while now, starting with the Bip. It didn't have the best screen or many great features, but it was reliable and the battery easily lasted 30 days. I wore it every day and never took it off. I've worn it in the sea and in the shower. It died maybe a year and a half after I got it, but that's about what I expected from something that wasn't even supposed to be waterproof. I like that the Amazfit "community" is quite active and I knew that there are many people making watch faces for these devices. I wanted something with more functionality, more colors, and a better screen, so I went with the Verge Lite. He is great. The screen and colors are a step up from the Bip. The battery life is easily 30 days without recharging. I've had the watch for about 8 months now and can't say I've had any problems. It just works. Some people buy these Amazfit devices and get frustrated because they don't measure their activity accurately. If you want this, you'll have to pay for something more reliable, like an Apple Watch or Garmin device. The price should indicate that they are not for serious athletes. I used mileage tracking on this watch and it just stopped tracking my progress after 2 miles. OK. So why am I not upset? Because it's a cheap device. It cost me about $70, and the things I want to do well β send notifications from my phone, alarms, keep track of time β it does it well. I love that I can change the song on my watch without taking my phone out of my pocket. I love that I can set an alarm on my watch to remind me to check my laundry. The Find My Mobile feature has been a lifesaver for other family members who have put their phone away and can't figure out where it is. to build them. I believe this is a DIY clock. You'll have to play around with it to understand how it works. Why are there two apps from the company to use it? Who knows. You need to register on the Chinese website to track your health. Figuring out how to swap watch faces is a pain. But some of us like all this nonsense. If the watch wasn't reliable and the battery didn't last as long, I wouldn't recommend it to all my friends and family.
