Review on K2755 Evolution Drilled Slotted Ceramic by James Oconnor

This kit was purchased from an online auto parts store (not Revain). At first I smiled at everything - stopping power is great, perforated rotors look amazing. Then, just 2 1/2 years later and after only 28,000 miles, the front pad completely lost brake material on one side in the middle of a 400 mile ride. I ended up having a metal-to-metal contact on the front rotor that grounded it pretty hard. The car was not driven intensively - a daily driver, and it was not steered by the leading foot like me. I have never had less than 5 years of life and/or more than 50,000 miles on original pads. In the end I'm so disappointed in them that I don't even claim a guarantee. Just ordered a complete rotor/pad kit from another manufacturer (OEM supplier). If you're planning on putting them in a show car, they'll work for it. However, if you drive your own car, I wouldn't risk it.
