It is imperative to use BEFORE using Zep Carpet Cleaner.

This is a pre-application for the regular "Carpet Shampoo or Extraction Solution” that MUST BE DONE. But the results are noticeable. I use a semi-professional carpet shampoo/extractor. Even though no manufacturer tells you, you MUST rinse, rinse and rinse again after this treatment and shampoo or dirt and stains will rise to the surface to be re-absorbed. So rely on a 5-6 step process for heavily soiled carpets. But it literally brought up the 20 year old dirt that was in the cracks or previously lifted only to sink again for lack of multiple rinses.
