Exactly what I was looking for, high quality but without ostentation or luxury, strong and durable but not flashy "tactical" backpack. Also, I was really looking for a bag for the monstrous 17" Lenovo Thinkpad workstation. A reasonable laptop would fit in a dedicated bag. However, the main compartment is lined and works well for me. Plenty of internal pockets and places to organize, but not so much so that you forget where your stuff is.the only design flaw is that this bag doesn't have a chest strap and if you have to lug your butt at the airport you need a chest strap to keep the backpack from bouncing around.strap,( search Amazon Hanks Surplus Made in USA Replacement MOLLE Sternum Chest Strap with Cobra Buckle). Problem solved. For me it's the perfect travel backpack. I'm really impressed with how much I can pack in and it holds its shape really well. Up to loaded in the seams it still slips under the plane seat This is a bag you can load and torment and it looks good And made in the USA Very em recommended.
