Review on Speedball FOOTPEDAL ARTIST Artista Pedal by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Potters Wheel Pedal

Cons: Useful to have this pedal on a portable potter's wheel that centers 25 pounds of clay but only weighs 26 pounds. , but be aware that it is very sensitive when using the pedal. A little push and the whole project can be knocked out of shape or off the wheels. I found it easier for beginners to simply use the handle that is on the Artista potter's wheel instead of the foot pedal, as this offers more control, especially at low speeds. Another caveat: when attaching or removing a pedal, make sure the wheel is turned off. Sometimes a short will occur before the fork is fully installed or removed and the wheel will start spinning at high speed without warning. He never had this problem after being fully bonded. Pro: I love that I don't have to constantly touch the handlebar stick with dirty hands when the pedal is plugged in. I also appreciate that the wheel can be stopped very quickly with the pedal if something goes wrong or the pot is about to collapse. Additional Notes: The pedal is difficult to use when crouched on the floor. It is much easier to use when standing or sitting on a high stool. The control button built into the steering wheel does not work when the pedal is connected. I would buy this product again.

Pros
  • Great Price
