Review on 🔊 SAMSUNG Sound+ SWA-W700 Wireless Subwoofer: Achieve Ultra-Deep 27Hz Bass and Seamless Pairing with Sound+ Soundbars by Karen Washington

I bought the whole set (incl. Soundbar 750, Subwoofer 700 and Wireless Surround Back SWA-9000S/ZA) as a set. The soundbar and backplates arrived first, so I installed them and used them for two days without a subwoofer. The soundbar is a massive improvement over cheap little speakers in even the latest, prettiest new TVs. The only drawback is the missing left-right volume balance setting. Due to the installation in my bedroom, my TV is in the corner, so no "room-filling sound". Everything just comes out of the corner of the room under my TV. Of the eleven speakers, one is on the right and the other on the left. With all of their "modes" (which don't seem very different), you'd think you could control the balance of the left and right sides. You can not. However, the sound quality and volume were excellent. Adjusting the "up-firing speakers" gave the sound a nice depth. Rear Surrounds: The only control you have is the volume. Again, there is no left/right balance. For my speaker placement, this meant everything I heard was the correct speaker. There is no option to turn right and turn left. Terrible shortcoming. Sound quality was good (except I couldn't hear my left channel at all due to the placement in the room. Received and plugged in the s700 sub two days later. Even at 6 (max) and after hours of playing with different settings/modes, I was able to honestly can't tell any difference with or without the subwoofer at full volume There are no controls on this (other than a useless volume) No crossover or frequency settings, nothing The soundbar decides what it gets and is completely useless to me Definitely not worth more than $400 After hours of searching the web and hours of Samsung tech support on the phone (very nice but useless) solutions just weren't there.You need the flexibility and control over sounds it's not the best option.and when my subwoofer was faulty, then this is just a joke I am returning everything Although I ordered the kit from Revain each art I was billed separately and when I tried to return the subwoofer I was told the item was non-refundable. Luckily a very good Revain representative I contacted by phone declined. I've had some very good Samsung products and love the brand and customer service. I think I expected too much from the "soundbar" configuration. I'll be ordering individual components again (probably Denon based) that I know I can tweak to get the true surround sound I want.
