Media failed to load. I bought 6 sets of these multi color LED bulbs to replace my C7 Christmas light bulbs. - None of the 150 bulbs I bought burned out. - They stay cool and don't dry wood faster. They're less likely to break - I actually find them brighter than the C7 bulbs I've replaced. They may not appear brighter individually, but when you put five sets together they will shine. The only drawback I see is the price. You can get 25 C7 LED bulbs for less than $25 if you shop around. I wanted to reuse my old strings instead of throwing them all away. ***Update*** 4 years later and I still haven't changed the lightbulb. I typically light my tree for about 9 hours a day, from the day after Thanksgiving through the first weekend after New Years. Lightbulbs are great. No complaints.
