The clips are complex, but easy once you get the hang of it.
It took me a good hour and 1/3 of my streak to get a good connection together before I had the brilliant (no pun intended) idea of taking a safety pin and lifting each one of the pins just before you insert the strip and snap the case into place. It worked surprisingly well and everything else went very smoothly after that. I recommend using a small amount of double sided tape if attaching the strip to a wall. They are light but heavy on headlights and they drag a little.
