hem also with jeans, right? Impossible. You cannot raise the needle high enough to get the material into the feed. I bought this in hopes of sewing a patch onto the magnetic closure of my patio door. It's not even a quarter inch above the magnetic lining to the mesh and I couldn't patch it. The needle stuck. The knot tying technique is frankly ridiculous and messy looking. I have been sewing for Singers, Brothers and Berninas for over 40 years. I am not a beginner and found this machine useless.
