This is the best lamp in the world. I was concerned about safety - we have cats and a young son - I didn't want anything that would pose a fire hazard or hazard if dropped in water. It's in a tank so don't worry a cat or child could knock it down and start a fire, and it's submersible so the water isn't dangerous. Plus it works GREAT! I light up our entire 20 gallon tank. I liked it so much I ordered it for our 30 gallon tank. The lights are bright enough, it fits perfectly on the rim of our tank, it presses lightly but firmly. The moonlight feature is amazing. Now even my 6 year old who loves a good night light has admitted it's too bright for sleeping but if your aquarium is in the living room this is a great night light for the bathroom or kitchen. LOVE LOVE LOVE this light - I'm a curmudgeon and love it so much I won't even complain about the price. Please note we also have one of these Airstone/LED Submersible Lights. They're fine, but they shine in your eyes and don't light up the entire aquarium. It does!
