Review on Dorman 65271 Copper Drain Gasket by Nick Reddy

Gasket seals super, fits perfectly with the aluminum gear tray just bought, fits better than the copper gasket supplied. I prefer copper gaskets to nylon or fiber gaskets as the latter tend to break down over time and heat. They remain intact and do not leak. The description is incorrect, there is no drain plug and there are TWO 1/2"/M12 copper gaskets in the pack instead of one. I bought this as an "add on" to get free shipping and I am glad i did auto parts stores have this size but you have to buy a pack of 2 other sizes which you (or at least i) will never use it came in 2 sizes which i wanted and needed great surface area ideal for 1/2" or M12 flanged drain plug and also ideal for threaded area. I gave 5 stars despite the inaccurate description because it's not the product's fault, it's Revain's problem.
