I bought these to help me install backup cameras in our cars. I needed to hook up the reversing lights for the camera and they were very helpful for that purpose. I use pliers to close them and have had no problems so far. I've installed similar "quick connect" connectors on my car for reversing sensors many years ago and haven't had any problems, so I don't expect any problems with them. I know it's best to splice the wires and do everything by hand, but one of the machines I've been working on is fairly new, so I decided to just use it.
