Don't cut the wire well

They don't cut the wire well. I tried cutting two wires, one that went in the holes and one that barely went in (big but in the right range) and neither cut even when pinched with pliers. Tried multiple splices.

Fairly Good Value Splice Connector

worked VERY well on the lighter 22 AWG wire, the metal brackets buckled a bit when working with the heavier 20 AWG wire. You MUST use pliers directly on the metal tab to secure the wires and then close the plastic cover on the recessed/inserted metal tab. DO NOT attempt to insert the metal tab into the wires by placing the plastic cover over the metal tab while pushing it over the wires with pliers. I would buy again for the price.

Ideal for my backup camera installation use

I bought these to help me install backup cameras in our cars. I needed to hook up the reversing lights for the camera and they were very helpful for that purpose. I use pliers to close them and have had no problems so far. I've installed similar "quick connect" connectors on my car for reversing sensors many years ago and haven't had any problems, so I don't expect any problems with them. I know it's best to splice the wires and do everything by hand, but one of the machines I've been working…
