I have a Dell G7 7590 - a mid tier gaming laptop before you start getting into the Alienware line, and over time, and more pronouncedly this past month, the cooling had begun degrading and fighting games like Guilty Gear Strive began intermittently running in slow motion as the laptop got hot. It's a fairly recent phenomenon. I ordered this cooling pad on Monday and I'm writing this review two hours of playing after it arrived. Seems like mission accomplished. The laptop is cool and the games aren't slowing down. Very happy with the purchase. It's icing on the cake that the rainbow LED strobe matches the same on my keyboard and mouse.
