Installed in a 2004 Chevy Silveradoext Cab Long Bed I could plug this straight in but I did a bit of searching and found a connector that mates with the 24 pin connector in mine Car fits so I waited and bought it to make connection easier. I also had to buy an adapter for the antenna connection. The factory GM wiring harness on the dash didn't have an ignition wire, so I connected it to the wiring harness for my brake controller. The rear camera cable was long enough to get there. my rear bumper. This truck is 18 years old, so there is no Bluetooth and no rear view camera. I pull a trailer every week and it always sucks. A backup camera makes it easy. Overall excellent quality.
