I'm changing my rating because the customer service was great! I received a damaged item with a broken canister that was leaking, but the package included a letter from the product's supplier (not Amazon where I bought it) with an email address. I emailed them on Wednesday morning with a picture of the damage and on Wednesday afternoon I received a reply confirming my address and on Friday morning I received a replacement product. I used this to make almond milk straight away and both the process and clean up was much easier, faster and cleaner than my previous attempts with a nut milk bag. I really wish it was more aesthetically pleasing with a glass bottom and jug lid (as it is, wire mesh is the only "lid" included). Perhaps in the future someone will develop and sell a strainer that fits in a wide-mouth liter jar. For now, I'm just moving it further into the class supply jar. All in all, the almond milk I made with it was very good: smooth, without semolina. I really think I now have a much better chance of making almond milk twice a week as I no longer have to fiddle with the nut milk carton and different bowls and then have to clean out the nut milk carton etc and I am very satisfied and impressed with the customer service that I received. I will definitely recommend this product to my friends who drink almond milk.
