Review on 🚚 ZEROXCLUB WX02: Waterproof Wireless Backup Camera System for RV/Truck/Semi-Trailer/Box Truck by David Gill

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Couldn't work on my 20ft trailer.

I really wanted this to work. The video quality is excellent and the 7 inch screen is wonderful. I installed it on the back of my caravan using the factory Furrion camera port. It worked at first, and then it started disconnecting and reconnecting every few seconds. Customer service was excellent; They sent me an extension antenna after I contacted them. I tried attaching it to the monitor and putting it on the truck - the signal still disappeared. Then I hooked it up to the camera and rode as far as I could on the TT - the signal was still gone. Both cameras tried - the same. Tried different power supplies - same thing. If I put the camera on the ground behind my TT and to the side (so that I have visual contact), the connection was fine. If I moved the camera behind the trailer, I immediately lost the signal. My TT is only 20 feet long and is made of fiber optics so the signal from the camera to the monitor isn't much of a problem. I have read many reviews from others who have done a similar setup and it has worked well for them. why not mine No idea. I'm not a dumb idiot, my specialty was electrical engineering and I worked in the mechanical engineering industry for many years, part-time being a mechanic. On the plus side, the hardware is well made - all-metal camera body, a sturdy monitor, lots of screws and spare parts for installation. And it's all packed in a nice foam-lined box. I just wish it worked the same way in the trailer as it did when tested in the kitchen.

Cons
