I have previously used the G430 and wanted to upgrade to something wireless; since I'm tired of having tons of cables in my gaming setup. Noticeably correct things I noticed compared to my previous setup: - G935 is louder! This was the first time I had to turn down the volume in a game as I always wanted the volume to turn up beforehand. The G935 is louder than I would have expected from a headset. The G935 has surround sound. MY GOD! Being able to actually hear the direction the sound is coming from made the game more enjoyable! Updated - in 90 days! I still love the headset! - Area! I was surprised how far away from my computer I could be without losing connection to my computer. If I need something from the kitchen, I don't take off the headset; just up and into the kitchen; get what i want; back to pc. and no sound. + The only criticism I can think of for the headset is that the comfort decreases a bit when wearing glasses. If I'm in a hurry to put on my headset, I can easily knock off my glasses; or slide the glasses off your nose while the temples of the glasses are pushed forward from the back of the ear cups on the headset. My purchase was an "upgraded" device; and I had no operational problems with this device.
