I have installed geeni WiFi lightbulbs in my house and love them. I thought the scale would be a great addition to my semi-smart home and the best part is that I didn't have to download another app. One app for all geeni products! It took me a while to figure out that the button on the back converts lbs to kg but also acts as a switch to AP mode. If you are having trouble connecting the scale to a Wi-Fi network, try Hotspot mode. Works every time. (This also applies to light bulbs). Press and hold the button on the back until the Wi-Fi icon blinks slowly instead of quickly. I loved that it integrates with Apple Health. However, I am concerned about the accuracy. I checked that it was calibrated by placing an 8kg weight and weighing it accurately. But my own weight - I find it a little doubtful that I can lose or gain 3 pounds in a few hours. App makers/developers need to work on their human attitude. Telling someone that they are "in poor physical condition" can have negative repercussions. Just try softening your tongue a bit. However, highly recommended. It's sleek, discreet, and gets the job done.
