Review on Efficient Detection with Inficon-718-202-G1 Combustible Gas Detector by James Hess

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The detector caught fire like a Christmas tree, although it was very difficult.

I have a little teardrop shaped camper. It still smelled like propane, but my shop said they checked all the lines and fittings for bubbles and found no leaks. Using Gas Mate, I was able to pinpoint the source of the leak in a specific fitting. The detector shone like a Christmas tree, although it was very difficult to see with soapy water. Valve replaced, no more propane smell and with a detector I could be sure the repair was a success. Pays for itself after a single use. Very easy to use and beautiful case. I like the intermittent beep in detection mode that tells you it's actively "sniffing".
