It comes with a set of test plates, which is very nice. I have found that it actually works as advertised and very accurately. So if you work in the car body industry (or any other work area where coating thickness is determined) this becomes a very handy tool. The only real issue I have with it is that it uses AAA batteries and not rechargeable ones. Why oh why can't it charge? And to be honest, the included protective case is a bit annoying. But as a pure feeler gauge it's great and I recommend it.
